Delivery, Returns and Refunds

Delivery

Please be aware that delivery charges can change at any time and that all delivery charges are non-refundable. Delivery charges are based on 2nd class postage by Royal Mail at the current prevailing rate at time of order, unless otherwise agreed.

Delivery destinations are within mainland England, Wales and Scotland only. For all other U.K and International locations please contact Monteas for further information. Delivery costs can be viewed at check-out. MonTeas is NOT responsible for additional delivery costs/duty applied by Countries external to the U.K. e.g. Europe.

Orders requiring special delivery will be charged by prior arrangement only. Orders requiring a courier and/or where a signature is required, MonTeas cannot accept responsibility for non-delivery, failed with re-delivery charges or missing parcels. MonTeas will attempt to fully assist where any claim arises for non-delivered, missing parcels.

All orders will be despatched within 48 hours when placed Monday to Friday excluding Sundays, Bank Holidays and excluding OTHER SHOP CLOSURE DAYS AS NOTIFIED ON THE WEBSITE SECTION 'Opening Hours'. However, despatch and delivery is subject to Royal Mail variations and/or limitations.

MonTeas delivers using Royal Mail and is, therefore, bound by their conditions. For First and Second Class deliveries, a period of fourteen working days must be allowed before making a claim for lost goods.

Returns

Returned faulty goods will be exchanged or credited, in accordance with customer statutory rights - excludes unwanted products. Where possible MonTeas will endeavour to offer an exchange on faulty products but the cost of postage and return of the faulty product remains the responsibility of the buyer. Damaged deliveries must be notified immediately, the broken product(s) kept and photographic evidence of the damage or MonTeas may not be able to accept responsibility for any claim. Returns falling under the distance selling act (excluding perishables of tea and other beverage products) must be made by a ‘signed for method’ at the customers expense.

Refund Policy

In compliance with U.K. regulations: Customers receiving orders within the U.K. have the right to cancel an order up to seven days following receipt of goods, if applicable. Notification of cancellation must be made in writing to MonTeas at 111 Monnow Street, Monmouth NP25 3Eg or by email to cafetea@monteas.co.uk within this seven day period. Non-faulty goods/products must be returned, if applicable, in their original condition, unused and sealed product bags remaining sealed as originally issued, within 7 days of an order cancellation notice. Returns by customers for refunds will be at the customers own cost of postage or carriage. Once the goods and/or products of a cancelled order have been received in good condition a refund will be issued to the customer within 7 days of that goods/products receipt date.
